Large Antique KPM Berlin porcelain plaque set in and old hand carved giltwood wood frame ~ Artist signed, marked, 100% handpainted, excellent condition, Signed : A. Römhild . painted after original painting by Artist - MAKART . Painting on Porcelain KPM plaque. The subject is \"Bathsheba Bathing\" after MAKART. Bathsheba was the wife of Uriah the Hittite. Genre bathing scene. Art Nouveau painting done with amazing detail by a great artist Römhild and is signed at the lower right side at the front of the plaque--see photos. The plaque is fully marked on the back with impressed KPM and scepter and numbers inceased into the porcelain. Very bright colors, appealing to the eye.The plaque is in absolutely perfect mint condition, no chips cracks or scratches; The giltwood carved wood frame has all original bright gilding which is all intact and in absolutely great condition with reddish patina, showing the gilding underneath; Measures framed 28" x 23" and plaque is 23" by 17.25" .
