Bronze Rooster - Aboriginal Indigenous Art - Made of bronze (lost wax cast) and used as ritualware for the Benin people of Nigeria, Africa. Depicts a rooster with high coxcomb, incised feather design, arched tail feathers, indicated spurs on straight legs, square base, brown patina. Measures 18.5" high x 16" wide. Item comes from the collection of Timothy Koock. Ships from Austin, Tx.
