Great Company to Do Business With
George and his company were incredibly friendly and helpful to me upon my first time traveling from MA to NY to pick up my goods!! They loaded my trunk and other boxes for me without me even having to ask and with a great attitude..... will definitely be back!

First but not last
My first time with this auction house but it will not be my last if lots come up of interest. Accurately described the items were exactly what I wanted. Their outside shipping should be a model for many others to follow. Zero complaints on any level and I am not pleased easily.

Bad service
Poor communication, took two weeks for them to repl. The item took months to arrive.

Incorrect... According to our records we were in communication with you several times... The auction closed at almost midnight on a Saturday night. We prepared sent invoices with information instructions withing 45 minutes of the close of the auction via email. Your payment was paid (by you) processed the next day (Sunday). On Monday morning we called you proactively to congratulate you on winning, thank you for bidding with us asked you if you would require shipping. We recommended a shipper you chose to bargain shop for the best rate. We advised you of the most efficient shipper, you chose a different shipper that we actually warn people against as they are known for being terribly inefficient. That was your choice once we release the item to them per your request the ball is in their court, we have no way of knowing the status. I cant say who dropped the ball, between you them, but It is unfair to put the blame on us. We go above beyond here especially with respect to proactive attempts at communication if for no other reason than we have limited time space to turn over the items reclaim the space quickly to make way for the next auction. Sorry for your experience. for the record for anyone else reading... please THINK TWICE before using the UPS Store In Kingston or Rhinecliff.

Two shelf bar for the win
Great addition to the corner of the dining room. Wonderful for wine and glasses on top shelf and dessert plates and servers on lower shelf. Handy and lovely to look at!

Second time an item went missing that I purchased here
Auction house gave the bed I purchased to Salvation Army without notifying me or giving me any warning that this would happen. We tried to pick up several weeks late and they said it was not there and that they gave it away. I knew that there was a daily charge for not picking up which I was happy to pay, but I'm surprised that they would just give the item away with no warning/notice, and no contacting me about pick-up. I have spent over $1500 at this auction house for a previous purchase, but will not be returning due to the inconsiderate customer service and disorganization. This is after they also lost an item I purchased last month with no apology.

Congrats on Winning, Thanks For Bidding With Us, And Condolences on the loss. We have limited time and space and make it very clear in our terms and policies that we have late charges as you are clearly aware of. We also make it clear that once the late charges exceed the value of the items (based on your auction purchase, not any other valuation), the items are to be considered abandoned, claimed in lieu of charges and disposed of in whatever manner the Auction House decides. We do not watch the clock hoping for abandonment as it is of no benefit to us to have the items in the way. And though we are not required to do so, we even pay workers here to proactively attempt to contact buyers, and leave messages to come get your items. We are reasonable, but there is a point where items must be disposed of. They don't go missing, they go away. To anyone reading, we arent abusive on this policy, but we are reasonably firm and this is an example of what happens when buyers are not reasonable in picking up the items they have won. Please don't bid if you aren't prepared to follow through in at least a reasonably efficient manner, because there are limits as to how long we are able to warehouse your items.

Item was lost by auction house
Auction house lost the armchair I purchased and did not apologize for the mistake. I had to get in touch several times to even get a response. I wasn't going to leave a bad review since mistakes happen and I had a positive experience the first time at this auction house, but then a SECOND item I purchased went missing a month later! See other review. Very disorganized.

We acknowledge that we deserve criticism on the first part of this comment. We believe one bidder loaded the item (accidentally or on purpose) with their items and this should never be allowed to happen. It was a mistake and you deserve an apology at the very least. So with all sincerity, our apologies to you. You are both gracious and correct to acknowledge that mistakes do happen and while we can have thousands of smooth and error free transactions it only takes one careless 5 second time span to create grief and regret. While most times our level of concern for avoiding mistakes and expression of regret goes unnoticed in the heat of the moment, I assure you that we do work hard to avoid mistakes like this and as part of our apology to you also promise that we will work to be more vigilent. I am surprised at your claim you did not even receive an apology. You dont mention anything about being charged, but just in case, I will look into this to double check personally to make sure your item was refunded... And for the record again our apologies... We clearly dropped the ball and deserve to be called out on it.

Buyer beware, I Had to open a fraud case with Ollocard MC.
I obtained 2 separate condition reports from them claiming excellent, unblemished, no damage, cabinet quality etc. What I recvd were 3 cups with VERY obvious damage, scratching and missing trim. After one assurance of refund George Cole auctions has remained non responsive to date.
